Lawsuit Funding FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is this a loan? What if I can’t pay it back?
  2. Rapid Cash litigation funding is not a loan. If Rapid Cash funds your case, you will have to repay Rapid Cash only if you settle or win the lawsuit. If you lose the case, you owe us no payments or fees.

  3. Will you check my credit report?
  4. Our underwriting team will evaluate your case to determine its estimated value. If we believe that your lawsuit will secure a settlement or jury award, we will approve funding. Rapid Cash Funding will not review your credit history when determining whether to fund your lawsuit.

  5. How long does it take and how much money can I get?
  6. We understand that time is of the essence. Rapid Cash Funding carefully reviews every application, and will decide whether to fund your case within 48 hours of our receipt of a completed application – a very quick turnaround time. Amounts vary; we will advance a minimum of $500 up to a maximum of $100,000 of litigation funding. In some cases, we can fund the same day.
